I was given a diamond ring that has been in a drawer for over 5 years. It was lovely, but not my style. I took the ring to Cornelis and asked him to reset it in a different design. I picked it up today and it took my breath away. The ring is exquisite! It brought tears to my eyes, because instead of being kept in a drawer these diamonds will be kept on my finger. My fiancé proposed to me with a family heirloom ring as a 'stand-in' for THE ring which he wanted me to design/select as we would be using a gorgeous diamond that he had been bequeathed. He had already done some research and really loved the unique designs offered by Cornelis Hollander. We visited the store and I absolutely fell in love with their designs ~ especially one. My fiancé took me to several other stores to ensure that I would have a ring that was made especially for me. I saw hundreds of beautiful rings but could not stop comparing them to the design I fell in love with in Cornelis Hollander Needless to say, I went back and worked with Tina on making their design Uniquely my own. She was wonderful and patient ~ My ring is perfection and I am so thankful for their fine customer service and craftsmanship!! I am definitely one of their new and loyal customers!

I have a Cornelis Hollander wedding ring that I purchased elsewhere many years ago. I LOVE my ring. It is stunning and unique as are all of the Cornelis Hollander designs. Unfortunately, I developed a gold contact allergy and went into Cornelis Hollander Jewelry Designs to have it reset in platinum. I happened to run into Tina who helped me when I originally bought the ring. It was a wonderful gift to see her again and she was very understanding about my allergy and very helpful. ( I have gone to other jewelers who were not as understanding about my allergy regarding other pieces.) I haven't gotten the ring back yet but I can't wait! If you want a beautiful piece of jewelry from a great, helpful crew, look no further!

I had a number of family heirloom pieces that I wanted to recreate into custom designed, modern pieces. Tina and crew were OUTSTANDING!! I made an appointment and they spent over two hours with me reviewing the items I had, and offering design ideas for new pieces. They provided final designs via CAD visuals and their recommendations were incredible! They helped consolidate an overwhelming number of pieces into a few beautiful, modern pieces that will preserve my family heirlooms and create items I will enjoy wearing. Following the Supreme Court decision, we had seen Cornelis Hollander's ads in the Echo magazine. When my partner and I decided to go to California to get married, we appreciated his advertising geared to the "community" so we decided to go to his shop, and we are so glad we did. What an Incredible Experience. Cornelis Hollander deserve 10 Stars! To start, Walter is an incredible jewelry designer. I worked with Tina, Katie and Walter. I wanted a new design for a bracelet that was made in Greece. The piece is called "Evil Eye" or Mati" in Greek. The original design was made with paracord. I took the bracelet to Cornelis Hollander. My initial meeting was with Tina. We discussed options and Walter came up with some great redesign ideas. During to design process, I met with Tina, Katie and Walter. We put our heads together decided on a redesign of the bracelet. Since the main piece of the bracelet is 925 Sterling Silver, and Murano glass, we made the bracelet part in 925 Sterling Silver. The entire staff at Cornelis Hollander are such warm-hearted and very friendly people. They make you feel like they knew you for years. Our next project will be designing a new Sapphire/Diamond ring. I purchased a custom wedding band and engagement ring set that Cornelis made specifically for my fiancé and now wife of Ten Years! My soulmate constantly gets compliments from everyone, everywhere we go. “I’ve never seen a ring like that” “ that’s awesome where did you get that?” My wife says and you never will! She says this was made just for me.....& her eyes sparkle when she says it! I think anyone can go to a box store and buy a mass produced price of jewelry, but why would you? You get one true love in life! Why not get your partner something as rare, special, unique, and beautiful as they are and what they mean to you! This is the most attention and customer service friendly place I’ve ever purchased jewelry from. I have high dollar watches etc from other boutiques however they don’t follow up. I still get follow up email and calls from CH to make sure I’m happy! I was devastated to hear Cornelis had passed but krista ( sorry if I misspelled that) and his son still carry the torch with integrity, design, and style! I don’t usually take time to write reviews, but they took time to make my day special! It’s only fair to be honest and tell you how great this family and brand truly are. My jewelry purchase and experience with Cornelis Hollander has been exceptional! The quality and uniqueness of the designer piece I selected as my wedding ring, continues to impress even after almost 20 years. I’ve never stopped attracting compliments on my ring, whether from close friends & family or from random moments in public (even while browsing at large chain jewelry stores). Cornelis Hollander staff has also provided the same excellence in customer service over the years with periodic maintenance, refinishing, resizing, etc. of my ring and by sending thoughtful communications of showcase events and new designs/products. I purchased a BEAUTIFUL wedding ring, a pair of diamond studs, and two high end watches from Cornelis. He had been my jeweler to go to because I TRUST him completely. Not only his designs are exquisite but his service is beyond satisfactory. I lost two small diamonds in the setting and Cornelis, not only replaced them at no cost, but he cleaned and polished the ring for me. I miss Cornelis but I have no doubt the team he left behind is doing an excellent job as the legend himself.

Loved my ring buying experience. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and I even got a great deal. My wife and I chose Cornelis Hollander after interviewing a couple of top custom jewelers. Walter was perfect for us. They have a portfolio of fabulous designs to start with. My wife Esther and I are both designers and wanted to create something unique to replace her current wedding ring. Walter worked together with Esther capturing her design ideas perfectly. He did 3D imaging first, then when details were worked out, he did a 3D printing of the ring to ensure everything is perfect before manufacturing it. We couldn’t be happier with the results! We wouldn’t go to anyone else and give them our highest recommendation!

I have been a customer for almost 20 years now. I traveled from Denver to Scottsadle to get an engagement ring created...for round 2 ; ) Cornelis designed my first tension set engagement ring that had my grandmother's diamond in it. So when it was time to re-design, knowing I wanted to use the same stone, there was no place else I was going to go. It was a pleasure to meet and work with Walter, and I was sorry to hear about the passing of his father. I brought my first ring that his dad designed with me, and I saw his eyes light up upon holding it. Once we knew I was going with another Hollander design, he asked to purchase it from me. That meant so much...as it was from another time in my life, but it held many great memories and I hope someone else enjoys wearing it as much as I did. I brought in heirloom pieces of Jewelry to Cornelis. Most of which didn't fit me and wanted to make a ring with all of the different pieces that I could wear. We collaborated on the design, and he was so much fun to work with. Very professional as well. When I received the ring it exceeded my expectations and is just stunning. I adore this place! I have never been much of a jewelry gal ( which i know sound unbelievable), mainly because i always end up loosing it, so I do not even want to risk owning it. However, when I stumbled into Cornelis Hollander's shop, I instantly fell in love and knew my issue with loosing jewelry would soon gone. They have a two piece engagement ring that is to die for. I loved trying it on. The design was so unique and gorgeous I did not want to take it off. Walter was the one that helped us. He was incredible. I would suggest stopping by to take a look at their wonderful pieces, even if you are not in the market for some new jewelry.

Excellent customer service! I had a pair of gold/ diamond earrings that my husband had given me 25 years ago. The clasp had broken And I brought it to Cornelis Hollander for repair. They did such a beautiful job restoring them to the original luster! The repair cost was so reasonable as well I was surprised! I wish I could give them more stars. Thank you to their whole team for doing such a great job.

Okay, so I never should have looked at the ads, that would have saved me lots of money. But, I did, and then a detour had to occur so I could see the rings in person (we were in Sedona). First, I was in touch with Walter and later Tina from Hollander Jewelry. Tina was the person with whom I met after our correspondence. She was also the person who looked up all the prices of the rings that I had seen (in the ad) and lusted for (possibly) and then got back to me via emails prior to my visit. It was inevitable that I would find a ring that I wanted, the question was would I be willing to fork out the money. Well, I did. The ring arrived (Tina kept in touch, so I knew when to expect the ring), which was a good thing because my post office left it at my front door. I don't know what else could have been done because I was supposed to sign for the package, but that issue is "on" my post office, not the store. My ring is utterly lovely and I feel like a young lady who has to stare at her shiny glittery ring.
